The cost of these surveys could be met from one of the allocations for Central Schemes shown in enclosure 2 to circular despatch of 12 November, 1945 (Cmd.6713). It will, however, be impossible for them to be undertaken during the next two years because of shortage of technical staff and high priorities for surveys of a similar nature in other Colonial territories.
